| | The Ultimate Universe Stage 2 is HERE - with a patch! | |
| | This patch will be updated as issues are corrected. You must have UU2.0 Part 1 of 2 and Part 2 of 2 installed to use this patch. This fixes issues found after the initial release of UUM 2.0. Minipatch 1 Includes: 1. Borg Alliance TNG crash fix. 2. Klingon Neghvar and Advanced Neghvar weapons fixed. 3. Federation Prometheus registry fixed 4. One of the TNG Mirandas was showing up in TMP Era. 5. Section 31 Strider was showing up in TOS Era now TMP Only. 6. DC Fontana TOS Constitution Class moved from Uber Race to Multi Era. 7. Vulcan XRT 55d AI Fixed (it now moves when AI controls it). 8. A Mission update from Chris Jones. 9. No longer displays "Beta" in mainmenu. 10. Asteroid Field Deathmatch map now properly scripted. 11. Survival Mode maps fixed as well as one of the System Conquest maps. Was due to a minor script defect. 12. Valiant and Argentina Connie Variant/Refits are renamed to reflect their "Connie Heritage". 13. Various other ships display names have been altered to give a more uniform look to them. 14. Main Menu: Load button was missing for the Campaign 15. Uber Race Enhanced. Now includes more ships in Ent Tos and Tmp Eras. Would have crashed in Skirmish, and was unable to select ships in those eras in Instant Random Battle usually. Remember Uber Race is INTENDED to be Unbalanced. 16. Shield coloration adjusted for various ships in Uber Race and Multiera to better reflect their Heritage. 17. Some map adjustments and various other little things. | | Exploration Maps, More Screenshots, and a Miris Hot Video | |
| | TMP Exploration maps - The 'Asteroid Investigation' currently in 1.5 just got more interesting with the Romulan activity. Still plenty to explore. Also - The 'Formation of a Star' TMP involves some interesting activity with the NCC-1701-A, USS Excelsior (NCC-2000), The Section 31 versions of those two ships, AND the Terran Empire Versions of said ships. You'll love this one - it'll be in Stage 2 so stay tuned. In The TOS Exploration Map 'Asteroid Investigation' the Biogenic Transports have been changed. This is one ^$# of a map with plenty to do - which is what TOS should be. Stage 2 is near. Stay tuned. Random Pics..      | |

| | "Legacy" Music video Inspired by UUM and constructed By Mindwipe | |
| | It appears I've had a bit of a fan following for the remix and original music I have done for Ultimate Universe. I have been asked by many users to create music videos (similar to my generic mix videos) for the UUM soundtrack packs. well here is the first of a couple I shall be putting together. (For those of you following UUM2.0 on the forums this is a little bit of a sneak peak at some elements of 2.0's intro movie also) The track is from VOL 2 and is entitled "LEGACY" and is available for download via this link completely free of charge. Original elements of this mix are from Lucas Arts, "the dig", and Red Note Audio and have been re-organized with original music by Mindwipe, with full consent and permission by the segment's authors. All rights reserved on this non profit album to all three author elements. (none of this remix may be used for commercial or other mod endeavours without express permission from Mindwipe Studios.) | |

| | Ultimate Universe 1.5 MiniFix Patch Release 8 | |
| | The Ultimate Universe 1.5 MiniFix Patch R8 is now up for download. It includes everything from the previous releases as well as a new game mode. The new game mod is similar to the Vs Battle mode but with a twist. I call it "Random Vs Mode" or "Instant Random Vs". It is a bit more like Skirmish mode, but with Difficulty levels and more potential ships on your side. There is a new interface added to the updated UUTools that controls this new mode. You get to pick various settings to setup the mission or let them on "Random" and the tool will pick for you. 1) Era (Ent, Tos, Tmp, Tng or All) 2) Player & Player Allies Race (All Flyable Races and also "All") 3) Number of Player Team Ships (1-12) 3) Enemy Race (All Flyable Races and also "All") 4) Map (Uses Any Vs Battle mode map) 5) Difficulty (Very Easy, Easy, Normal, Hard, Very Hard) All 5 settings default to "Random" which means they will randomly pick from any available setting when you press the "Set" button. You will get two boxes when you press set. The first is Your Fleet the second is the Enemy Fleet. After that Launch Legacy with the Launch button. Each time you press the Set button it will come up with new Player Side and Enemy Fleets even if no selections are changed. There are a few drawbacks, the Loading screen is weird due to the launch method. And the mission won't close after it ends you must press the Escape (ESC) key and exit via the menu.  This new mode uses the same maps as Vs Battle mode does, so when new Vs Battle maps are added they will automatically work for Random Instant Vs. The future version for UU2.0 will list Map Names rather than filenames for clarity. There have also been some other alterations to the UUTools. It now displays .rtf files in the Readme Library. Also there are performance improvements when switching installs. For Vista users it will now automatically ask you to Run As Administrator because if it isn't it won't do it's job. | |

Muldrf27 Jan : 16:11 Chimera83 UU 2.0 is NEW Mod not an Upgrade to 1.0 or 1.5, you must start with a fresh unmoded copy of Legacy. If you did you might have a corrupt download.. McAvoy - Download both Part 1 of 2 and Part 2 of 2 and install them to your Star Trek Legacy directory (be sure to install to a fresh unmodded copy of legacy as mentioned above.) UU2.0 ia NOT a Patch or Upgrade it's an entirely new installer, unknown issues will occur if you install it overtop an existing modded install UU or otherwise.
